The Cheezheng Group
The Cheezheng Group, set up QII August 18, 1993, is a non-governmental
hi-tech enterprise that to inherit and develop traditional Tibetan
medicine.
It owns a 667-hectare medicinal herbs protected area in the Yarlung
Zangbo River Grand Canyon, and has two modern Tibetan medicine factories
in Nyingchi in Tibet and Gannan in Gansu Province.
The two factories, meeting the requirements of GMP, strictly abide
by Tibetan medicine traditions in the selection of ma-terials and
drug manufacture. The Cheezheng Pain Elimi-nafing Plaster has won
an international gold invention award firstly in Tibetan history.
The Group works to combine Tibetan and Han cultures, adopting modern
tech-nology to produce traditional Tibetan medicine.
It invested funds and technology in ethnic regions
It has donated more than 7 million yuan for charity purposes, and
for the devel-opment of school education and social welfare in economically
backward ar-eas in Tibet and
Gansu, and in disaster-stricken areas in other parts of China.
For these activities, Cheezheng has won high praise from secular
and clerical people in the Tibetan areas, and awards from the Central
and local governments.
