Pad
ĦĦĦĦIndis-pensable in Tibetan families, each pad is about 40cm wide,
30cm high and 90cm long. Generally, two pieces are connected together,
and can be folded. There are also four pieces linked together. The
materials include pleuche, cowhide canvas or plain cloth staffed
by river deer hair, goat hair, sheep hair, cow hair or highland
barley stalks. When used, it is supported by a wooden frame, so
as to prevent damp. Simple, comfortable and practical, it can be
used as sofa or as bed.
