Tibetans are fond of drinking tea. In order to keep butter tea warm, they invented tea stoves to go with teapots. No flames are in the tea stoves, and low temperature is kept so as to keep butter tea warm. The original tea stove and teapot were made of porcelain and several holes were opened in the belly of the porcelain tea stove so as to let air in.
