Since the implement of Drinking Water Project in Tibet not only many people and animal's difficulty of drinking water has been solved, but also the quality of the drinking water has been improved. The project is liberating many Tibetan women from the heavy work of carrying water. According to the incomplete statistics, only last year in Tibet Autonomous Region 180 thousand Tibetan people and more than 2 million animals' difficulty of drinking water has been basically solved.
