The number of national level protection animal--Tibetan antelopes has increased recently. The antelopes in Alking mountain of Xinjiang Autonomous Region have increased from 12 thousand to 40 thousand in recent years.

According to Xinjiang Daily: Xinjiang, Qinghai and Tibet have carried out series of activities to protect Tibetan antelopes and have gained a good result.

Tibetan antelopes are the number one National Protection Animals, and mainly distributing in Alking Nature Preserve area of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, Ke Ke Xi Li Nature Preserve area of Qinghai and Qiangtang Nature Preserve area of Tibet.
