Railway Continues in Tibet
Two field
reconnaissance workers work at Sidaoliang area of Tibet Autonomous
Region, at an altitude of some 5,000 metres Friday April 14, 2001,
in preparation for Qinghai-Tibet railway. The Qinghai-Tibet railway
is the first railway linking Tibet to the rest of the country. China
plans to complete the project in six years.
