NPC Deputies from Lhasa Visit Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Lhasa-based deputies to the National People's Congress, the country's supreme legislative body, paid a visit to the under-construction Qinghai-Tibet Railway, and were satisfied with the progress on the railway.

The deputies, lead by Guo Jinlong who is the secretary of the Tibet Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), toured two construction sites including a very famous one at the Yangbajain section and expressed thanks to the construction workers who are working hard on the project.

Guo said during the visit that the CPC Tibet Autonomous Region Committee and the Tibet people's government will do their outmost bound in cooperating with the construction workers in all affairs and timely completing the railway, which is a symbol of China's "Go West" Development Plan.
