Officials Inspect Qinghai-Tibet Railway Line After Quake

Officials from four state institutions have come to inspect the Qinghai-Tibet railway line after the earthquake that had wrecked havoc along the Kunlun Range.

　The officials went to inspect the railway construction sites where the quake were felt the most and where the telecommunication links had been broken for four days.

　The officials were from the railway ministry, environment protection agency, national land resources agency and state planning commission.

　The Kunlun Range was hit last week by an earthquake that measured 8.1 degrees on the open-end Richter scale.
