Qinghai-Tibet Railway Line Key Campaign in 2002

The construction of the Qinghai-Tibet railway line will be one of the key projects that will get continued full support from the state in 2002.
The Chinese State Council has enlisted the construction of the 1,110-kilometer railway line among the four key campaigns to be maintained in the new year.
Apart from the railway line, other constructions will be launched to quicken the materialization of the aim of reaching paved highway roads to each and every county in the country.
All these projects are among the ones that are designed to further develop the country's west.
Other projects include sending electricity to each and every community, and transmitting radio and television programs to each and every village.
