Seal of the Fifth Panchen Erdeni,Qing Dynasty,gold seal with a Ruyi knob, 8.7 cm high, each side: 10.8cm

In 1713, Emperor Kangxi conferred upon the Fifth panchen Blo-bzang-ye-shes the title of "Panchen Erdeni" and following the example of the Fifth Dalai Lama, also bestowed upon him a gold album and a gold seal. The seal is inscribed with: "Seal of Panchen Erdeni" in Han, Manchurian and Tibetan languages.
