噶丹颇章 在哲蚌寺的西南侧是著名的噶丹颇章。该宫殿上下7层，由前、中、后三栋楼群组成。前院为包括1、2层楼院，２层正中有一个四方场院，面积约为400平方米，每年的“雪顿节”，僧人们都要在这里跳神或者是表演藏戏。场院的四周以及3楼的东、南、西都是游廊和僧会。4、5楼除了一部分僧舍外，主要是经堂和佛殿。6楼是达赖喇嘛的下属要员的办公场所，平时主要是颇章第巴在此办公。７楼是达赖喇嘛的住处，包括达赖的经堂、卧室、讲经法堂、客厅等；此外这里还设有卓玛殿和护法神殿。   Galdan Phobrang The Galdan Phobrang, located in the southwestern pan of the Zhaibung Monastery, is of seven storeys. It is composed of the front, middle and rear rows of buildings. The front courtyard houses the first two rows of buildings. In the center of the second row is a square courtyard with an area of 400 square meters, which serves as the stage for monks to perform sorcerer's dance or Tibetan Opera during the annual Shoton (Sour Milk Drinking) Festival. Around the courtyard and in the eastern, southern and western part of the third row are covered corridors and monk dorms. On the fourth and fifth rows are monk dorms, sutra halls and Buddha halls. On the sixth row are offices for Phobrang Diba and major officials under the Dalai Lama. The seventh floor is the living place for the Dalai Lama, complete with sutf8 hall, lecturing hall and sitting room. In addition, there are also the Zholma Hall and the Buddhist Guardian Hall. Behind the Coqen Hall lies a cell where Qoigyai Zhaxi Bendain, founder of the monastery, practiced Buddhism.
