Lhasa-Gonggar Highway

Lhasa-Gonggar Highway (Lhasa-Gamga Airport) is 98 kilometers long, ithe Yarlung Zangbo River Chusu Bridge-Lhasa section belongs to the Sino-Nepal Highway. Rectification was carried out in 1995 when Tibet was celebrating its 30th anniversary. Later civilized model road and GBM project were implemented. It is now Class 2 bituminous highway, its highway forestation and highway facilities are the best in the whole region. It is the link connecting Lhasa and Tibet civilized source-Yalong Valley. Being the window of Tibet foreign exchange, it is dubbed as "the Best Highway of Tibet".
