Located on Ritan Dongyijie in the embassy area of Beijing's Chaoyang District, Creation Gallery was established in September 1997 by professional painter li Xiaoke, son of master Chinese painter Li Keran, as an art salon. It mainly aims to advocate representative artists of contemporary arts that stem from the profound earth of oriental, national culture.Besides promoting conemporary Chinese ink and wash paintings and prints of middle-aged and young contemporary artists, while trying to discover unfamed explorative new artists.
    Through various specialized exhibitions, Creation Gallery introduces outstanding artworks to the market. Though on a trial basis, the gallery has been characerized by its agent system for artists, serving as agent for a group of distinctive artists such as renewed painter Lu Chen and Yang Gang.
    As an open art salon, Creation Gallery irregularly offers places for artists, collectors and art-lovers to communicate with each other and organizes different specialized activities with academic, knowledge or entertaining characteristics.
    Owning the country's largest collotype reproducing studio, Creation Gallery sells reproductions of painter Li Keran and other artists' masterpieces as an attempt to narrow the gap between high-standard artworks and the life of ordinary people. The gallery also adds convenience to customers and friends through its fast and excellent services in frame-making and calligraphy and painting mounting.
