Sculptures

It is popular to see bronze, stone and wood sculptures in Tibetan monasteries. Embossment, relief and bas-relief are widely used in the images of Buddha and other religious symbols in monasteries; decorations on pillars of corridors, beams, doors and windows; joss houses, seats of gods, offertory table, stupas and various cultivation articles.
