The Yarlung River descends from the beautiful
snow-capped Yarla Shangpo Mountain, irrigating the fertile land
through which it passes. The Yarlung people have lived generation
after generation on this piece of land with glorious flowers
in spring and sweet fruits in autumn, fostering the characteristics
of good-naturedness, broad-mindedness and self-renewal. They
have borne all kinds of hardships, trying every means to compose
beautiful lyrics, paint bright colors and sing the best songs
for life. They are always optimistic and generous.
