  Buddhism was introduced into Tibet in the 7th century and it has been evolved into Tibetan Lamaism that integrated religion with political power. The Lamaist rule lasted until the 1950s. For more than a millennium years, numerous monasteries and temples arose on Tibetan land. Nowadays lots of Tibetan people are believers of Buddhism which is the pillar in their hearts.
  The Buddhist temples scattering everywhere on Tibet are embodiments of all the Tibetan art forms such as architecture, paintings, sculptures and music. They amass the precious Tibetan folk treasures of all ages, record the footsteps of plateau history, show the intelligence of Tibetan people.
The Tibetan temples mostly sit on different landscapes, forming their own different charactoristics. The color is quite particular, different from the common practice, and outstanding on the plateau, attracting people to visit.
